Glo FAQ: Is My Glo Real?
Is my Glo real?
Is Glo Extracts a real, legit brand? Who makes Glo?
Yes, Glo Extracts is a real, legit cannabis brand and the original maker of Glo Up live diamond vapes. Every Glo starts with premium California flower, extracted within 30 days of harvest for full natural flavor. Because Glo is copied so often, select units include an authentication QR code so you can check that your Glo is real.
How can I tell a real Glo from a fake?
The easiest way to spot a fake Glo vape is the packaging. Glo Extracts designs custom packaging for every Glo, so a real Glo box has clean, sharp details. Blurry printing, spelling mistakes, or cheap materials are signs of a fake Glo cart.
What should real Glo packaging look like (box, master box, stickers, plastic wrap, barcode)?
Real Glo Extracts packaging has crisp printing, bold colors, and no spelling mistakes. Glo Up ships in master boxes of 50 flavors, packed in medium boxes of 10 flavors each. If your Glo box looks different, it may be counterfeit.
What markings are on genuine Glo hardware?
Genuine Glo hardware has bold colors, distinctive patterns, and the signature Glo LightBulb LED, which lights up when you hit or charge the device. If the LED doesn’t work or the design looks plain, it may not be a real Glo.
I have older packaging with a GLOTRACK code. Does it still verify?
No. GLOTRACK has been retired, so older GLOTRACK codes on Glo packaging no longer verify. Glo Extracts is launching a new version of Glo verification soon, so stay tuned.
Are Motion carts and disposables made by Glo?
Yes. Motion carts and Motion disposables are past Glo Extracts products that people loved, and they inspired the new Glo Up live diamond lineup. See every current Glo Up flavor on our Flavors page.
What should I do if I think I bought a fake? How do I report it?
If you think you bought a fake Glo, stop using it right away and contact the store or seller you bought it from. Always buy Glo from a vendor you trust.
What is the only official Glo website, and which social accounts are real?
gloextract.com is the only official Glo Extracts website. Our official Glo social accounts are the ones linked at the bottom of this page, and any other site or account using the Glo name isn’t run by us.
Lab results and safety
What are “live diamonds” (live resin liquid diamonds)?
Live diamonds are the foundation of Glo Extracts oil. They’re made from premium California flower extracted within 30 days of harvest, which keeps more of the plant’s natural flavor and aroma. Liquid live diamonds are that extract made into a smooth, vape-ready oil, used in every Glo Up.
What hardware does Glo use?
Glo uses a compact 2G all-in-one vape, so the liquid live diamond oil and rechargeable battery come in one unit. Every Glo has our signature LightBulb LED, which lights up when you hit or charge it.
Products
What is Glo Up? What is the Glo-Kart?
Glo Up is the Glo Extracts live diamond lineup: compact 2G all-in-one vapes in 50+ flavors, released in drops. The Glo-Kart is a motorized luggage concept built for the Glo world, so stay tuned for more.
How many flavors are there, and how do drops work?
Glo Up comes in 50+ flavors, including Animal Tsunami, Gogurtz, Bolo Runtz, and Hashburger. Flavors are released in drops, and each Glo master box carries 50 flavors split across medium boxes of 10.
What size is each unit (grams)?
Each Glo Up is a 2 gram (2G) all-in-one vape, so you get 2 grams of liquid live diamonds in one compact unit, with nothing extra to buy.
Using your Glo
How do I use my Glo the first time?
To use your Glo for the first time, take it out of the packaging, remove any silicone plugs or stickers, and take a slow, gentle pull. Glo is draw-activated, so there’s no button. The LightBulb LED lights up while you hit it.
Does it need charging? How do I charge it?
Yes, every Glo is rechargeable. Charge your Glo with a USB-C cable, and the LightBulb LED lights up while it charges.
What do the LED light colors or blinks mean?
The Glo LightBulb LED lights up while you hit or charge your device. If the light blinks and your Glo won’t hit, the battery is low, so charge it with a USB-C cable.
What should I do if it isn’t hitting or feels clogged?
If your Glo isn’t hitting, charge it first with a USB-C cable. If it still won’t hit or feels clogged, warm it in your hand for a minute and take a few short, gentle pulls. Hard pulls can make a clog worse.
How long does one unit last?
How long a Glo lasts depends on how often you use it, but a 2G Glo Up is built to last. Recharge it with a USB-C cable whenever it gets low so you can enjoy every last drop of oil.
